I’m a social worker by trade, but most days I’m a mom of 3 just learning to roll with ‘it!’
I never thought I had much to say that interested others. I’ve never been the loudest in the room, or the one with the biggest opinion, but as I’ve moved through life I’ve realized that just because I’m not loud doesn’t mean what I have to say doesn’t matter…
I used to love to write. I had the wildest imagination as a child. In Elementary School I was recognized by teachers for my creative writing. When I got to high school, my writing wasn’t noticed, wasn’t celebrated, and so I thought it wasn’t good.
It’s been difficult for me to find a place to begin again with writing, but I feel like this, right here, is a good place to start. So, that is what I’m going to do. I invite you to come along, and I hope you enjoy. It is my intention to write a little bit about everything. Motherhood, ‘wifehood,’ being a professional in the working world, and just life in general.
I tend to get my motivation from what I see in my day. Snapshots, if you will. So, not always, but there will be times my posts may include the picture that inspired that post.
